College Days 2015 became a university celebration signaling the near-ending academic year. With the theme, the annual celebration is much more than a passing occasion. It was not only a breather from our paper works and reports, but also a reminder of how there are things as signifi cant as how our grades are perceived to be.
It was a celebration of diff erent cultures—in diff erent angles. Cultures that make us human. Cultures that make us unique as a people for the greater good of society. A culture that stems from nationalities and their diversity standing in their own grandeur. A culture that supports not only knowledge gaining pride and honor, but also wisdom feeding the soul. A culture that acknowledges skills making life refi ned in its own right—speaking, singing, dancing, etc. A culture that recognizes our instructors for their contribution to every achievement we may have attained. A culture that celebrates no less than a side of the beauty of the human race.
As Ateneans pursuing magis, let us not forget the value of cura personalis. This is the only way we can transform society.
